Grunnlaget – Nyborg concept teaching model presents Nyborg’s model for teaching basic concepts and conceptual systems. In this context basic should be interpret as basic for analyses and for identifying and relating to similarities and differences involved in generalization processes. Vygosky spoke about word function, and how this changes from naming to signifying. Nyborg’s concept teaching model supports and facilitates this change in word functions, and hence supports and facilitates children’s learning and languag development.
